Are you sure Eclipse is using the same JRE that you are expecting it to? Hi, Maven artifact resolution does not convey any information to Artifactory about your POM repositories - when Artifactory is asked for an artifact it searches for it only by the order of repositories as they appear in the virtual repository specified in the request first local, then caches finally remotes.

Alternatively, if you host your own repository you can deploy the file there: XMLInputFactory2 not required at compile time but it is required at runtime, may be other dependency use it. Add the artifact to the exclude patterns of the stax2-api3.0.1.jar repositories where it is deployed with a bad checksum and should not be downloaded from.

I purged the local repo, and everything worked as it should. Artifactory does not search remote repos in order listed in pom. Active 3 years, 9 months ago.
